1.1 Product Description
The DS-2 series network speed dome is equipped with high
performance DaVinci chip and has adoped H.264
compression standard to attain excellent image quality while
keeping high compression ratio. With build-in digital
decoder and PTZ, this camera with Hikvision’s own IPR is
leading the trend of high-tech modern surveillance
products. It is of whole digital control and flexible
programming; and the sophisticated transmission system has all
the functions including preset points, auto scan, cruise,
sequence, path preset and also frame scan, manual
position limitation, auto flip, privacy mask and back light
compensation, etc, and achieves mouse tracking when
connecting to Hikvision client software and DVR, thus
provides stable, long-durance working with hardly any
maintenance required.
Hikvision dome camera supports PELCO-D, PELCO-P and HIK Code
protocols, and is self adaptive to them.
For more convenient usage, the camera supports menu setting
functions, as parameters like system info, display,
camera configuration, pre-set positions, sequence, mask
areas can all be set on the menu, while password
authentication protect the settings being modified by
others.

Privacy Mask
Ć Mask certain areas from
displaying to achieve privacy protection. Support up to 12 mask areas with
adjustable
position and range, among which up to 8 mask areas can be
displayed in the same image.
Path Preset
Ć Series of camera movements can
be saved and recalled again to form a cruise path. Support up to 4 path
setting,
each of which has up to 10 min recording time.
Mouse Tracking
Ć Clicking certain position and
it will move to the center of the image, thus object can be tracked by mouse
moving
with zoom functions to facilitate the tracking of vehicles
and people, etc to income the inconvenience bring by
network delay.
Auto Switch to Low Illumination Mode
Ć Support auto/manual switch to
low illumination mode. The camera will automatically adjust CCD illumination
on
lightening change under auto switching mode, or select
between Color/ B/W display in manual mode.
BLC (Back Light Compensation)
Ć The camera can automatically do
back light compensation to avoid object being unidentifiable with strong
back
lighting, and get clear images.
High Resolution
Ć Build-in auto iris lens enables
object tracking under different environments with higher resolution and

Preset Frozen
